So lets get started on answering your fantasy football questions for this weeks games.#StartSitESPN golden Tate or Crabtree?- Mark Tigchelaar (@marktigchelaar) December 4, 2016There was a time when Tate caught a lot of vertical passes (aerials thrown 11 or more yards downfield), but he has one or fewer of those types of receptions in all but one game this year. Crabtree has 41 vertical targets this year and thus is used a lot more often on these types of throws. Crabtree is listed as questionable, but he was listed that way last week as well and still caught eight passes, so he would be the pick in this one. -- KC#StartSitESPN Matt Forte or Lamar Miller ?- Eli Floyd (@elifloyd03) December 4, 2016The Colts rush defense has allowed 100 or more rushing yards to opponents running backs in seven out of 11 games this year, including last week, when they gave up 148 to the Steelers. That upside potential is much greater than Millers upside against a Green Bay rush defense that has shut down a number of rushing attacks this year, so go with Forte. -- KCMatthew Stafford or Colin Kaepernick? @ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN- Russ Smith (@RedBirdRuss) December 4, 2016The Saints passing defense has a terrible reputation, yet this platoon has allowed 258 or fewer passing yards in five of its last six games. Kaepernick is facing a Bears defense that has given up two or more passing touchdowns in four of its last five games, and he offers a huge rushing upside potential that Stafford cannot match. That makes Kaepernick the selection here. -- KC@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Rawls or Ajayi Standard- Robert chavez (@RaiderRob209) December 4, 2016Baltimore has shut down many running backs this season, the most impressive of which was holding LeVeon Bell to 32 yards in Week 9, which is the fourth-lowest single game total of Bells career. Rawls has what looks to be a tough matchup against Carolina, but an ESPN Insider piece I wrote this past week notes that the Panthers are not likely to be able to get a pass rush on Russell Wilson. That should open the ground game up for Rawls much more than Ajayi, so Rawls is the go-to option in this one. -- KC@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN D. Moncrief or S. Watkins?- Alex Dierling (@AlexDierling) December 4, 2016Moncrief has a 95 rating in my matchup points system that grades matchups on a 0-100 scale, with 100 being the most favorable. Watkins grades out with a 50-point mark in that category, so Moncrief has a significant edge in that area. Watkins does have home run potential that Moncrief may not offer, so he would be the pick if playing for upside, but the percentage play is Moncrief. -- KCRyan or Brady? #StartSitESPN- Andrew Nikola (@AndrewNikola) December 4, 2016Thats not a bad quandary to have. Ryan has been exceptional this year, but he has posted 17 or fewer points in three out of his past five games. Brady has racked up 17 or fewer points in only two of his starts this year. That means Brady should be sat only if there is a reason to think his production level will drop off, which doesnt look to be the case in a home contest against a Rams defense that gave up 310 passing yards and four passing touchdowns to the Saints last week. That means Brady should be the pick in this one. -- KCDonte Moncrief or Tevin Coleman? #StartSitESPN- Mark Gonzales (@Badboyz79124) December 4, 2016An ESPN Insider article I penned this week noted that there are multiple reasons to think that Coleman is still going to be the alternate back in the Falcons offense rather than reclaiming a strong platoon workload. As noted earlier, Moncrief has a 95 score in my matchup points system that grades matchups on a 0-100 scale, with 100 being the most favorable. Add those two factors together and they equal putting Moncrief into this lineup. -- KC#StartSitESPN Jimmy graham or Travis kelce? #FFNow- Nick Gonion (@Nick_Gonion) December 4, 2016This is another incidence of having an embarrassment of riches. Kelce has posted 15 receptions for 209 yards over the past two weeks, a pace he should be able to replicate against a weak Atlanta secondary. That places Kelce first on my tight end ranking chart this week, but Graham faces a Tampa Bay defense that, as noted earlier, will be hard-pressed to get any type of pass rush on Russell Wilson. This factor and Seattles motivation to get their passing game back in gear give Graham a higher upside score than Kelce. That means play Kelce if looking for a percentage pick, but play Graham if looking for upside -- though in reality, either pick should bring a double-digit score this week. -- KC#StartSitESPN ebron or eifert- Josh Haldorson (@silverwalk2) December 4, 2016Tyler Eifert is facing a Philadelphia defense that ranks second in tight end points allowed per game this year (3.9) and has shut out opponents tight ends in two of its last three games. Ebron faces a Saints defense that just allowed the Rams mediocre tight ends to rack up four receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown. Eifert is still a slightly better percentage pick, given his role in the Bengals offense, but Ebron has a lot more upside potential, given the matchup upside, so Ebron would be the suggestion in this one. -- KCStandard league. Pick 2. Latavious Murray, Mark Ingram or Michael Thomas #StartSitESPN- Nicholas Peters (@nickelass88) December 4, 2016This comes down to workload potential. Ingram is battling a toe injury, but hes still apt to serve in a platoon role this week. Murray will be the Raiders lead back and likely wont see a workload decline. Thomas is in the most volatile shape out of this trio, as New Orleans is apt to send a lot more targets to Brandin Cooks after directing zero passes to him last week. This makes Thomas the riskiest selection of the group, so as long as you have a viable fill-in for him at wide receiver, he is the sit option out of this group this week. -- KCKirk Cousins or Andrew Luck? #startsitESPN- Kyle King (@Kingkyle09) December 4, 2016Cousins may have the most difficult matchup among quarterbacks this week, as he has an 18 rating in my matchup points system that grades matchups on a 0-100 scale (with 100 being the most favorable). By contrast, Luck has an 85 score in that matchup grading system and, therefore, has one of the most favorable matchups of the week. That type of disparity makes Luck the pick in this one. -- KCRobert Kelley or Jeremy Hill as RB3 #StartSitESPN- Maurice Dullea (@DulleaMaurice) December 4, 2016Hill has a higher yardage floor after setting career bests in routes, targets and catches this past week in Giovani Bernards absence. -- J.M.Do I start Dion Lewis or Kenneth Dixon? #startsitESPN- Alex Caruso (@alex__caruso__) December 4, 2016Dixon led the team in touches (17) and has a higher ceiling for touches again this week, especially as the Dolphins have ceded the seventh-most rushing yards per game to opposing backs. -- J.M.Rawls or Ajayi? #StartSitESPN- Steve (@sacarson2) December 4, 2016Its not a fun setup with the Ravens stingy defense in place, but Ajayi is averaging more than 23 touches per game and has a bit of upside in the passing game that Rawls doesnt claim, so hes my guy of this tandem. -- J.M.Who should I #StartSitESPN- must win for playoff spot! Kap or Matt Ryan?- Jeremy (@JMH0417) December 4, 2016I have Colin Kaepernick one spot above Ryan. Its a close call, but the Bears dont have a pass rush -- so Kaep can produce via the air -- while his 60-plus yards per game on the ground establish an awesome floor. -- J.M.James White or Wendel Smallwood. #StartSitESPN- Ryan Parker (@Ryan_M_Parker) December 4, 2016With Dion Lewis capturing part of Whites receiving market, Smallwood has a higher floor in standard scoring and a higher ceiling, given the volume on early downs we can expect. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN crabtree or boldin- Chad Jeffries (@cjeffries1) December 4, 2016With Crabtree looking good to go, Ill take his 24.3 percent share of the Oakland passing offense at home here. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Pick 2: Snead, Hopkins, Gabriel @ESPNFantasy- Mandie Baio (@mandie_joy_2) December 4, 2016Sitting Gabriel, as hes a big-play guy, but also dependent on such production to meet value. These other guys claim at least some volume in their respective offenses. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN r. Jennings or Ingram?- Matt Huhn (@mattjhuhn) December 4, 2016With Ingram looking ready to play, Id assume the risks in his profile for the far greater rewards, as weve seen him go off multiple times for huge games, something simply absent from Jennings production pattern. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN I lost Gronk so do I start Vernon Davis or Jared Cook at TE- Conor Torres (@Conor_Torres) December 4, 2016I prefer Davis. The Cards have been solid to tight ends, but Mathieu is out and Davis has at least 50 yards in all but one game since Week 6 as a steady part of the Washington passing game. Cook is a truly hit-or-miss asset that isnt integral to that offense. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN start A. Boldin or M. Wilson as 3rd wr.- Kevin Schaedler (@906billsfan) December 4, 2016With Marvin Jones ailing, lets go with Boldin and his uptick in target share in that shootout in New Orleans. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Flex help pick one Booker, Moncrief, or Rawls thank you.- Garrett Burk (@GBURKKILLA) December 4, 2016Riding with Booker here, as his touch rate of 25-plus over the past two games supports a high fantasy floor. -- J.M.Quincy Enunwa, Tyler Boyd, or Kenneth Dixon for flex? #StartSitESPN- Chris Higgins (@_chiggins) December 4, 2016Enunwa has been solid with a 20 percent share of that passing game, but I think this is the week to roll Dixon out there for a breakout box score. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN t.gabriel, t.boyd, m.wilson, enuwa,m.mitchell start 2?- Carlos Ortiz (@gonnalivlife) December 4, 2016Lets get Enunwa and Boyd in there, as both stand to consume six-plus targets in their respective offenses and face nice matchups. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN ppr Tate-Hopkins-Sanders-BPowell.Need3- KungFuPanda (@KeithRickles) December 4, 2016Sitting Powell, as he hasnt done much damage, save for one or two huge plays this season and the meaningful goal-line touches go to Forte. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Spencer Ware or L. Bount at flex?- Mark Short (@Markshort317) December 4, 2016I prefer Ware, as the Falcons have ceded 68 percent more receiving yardage than league average to backs, which aligns with his skill set. Blount remains a nice angle for a touchdown, but last week might be a template for how the offense will rely on their backfield in the passing game. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Big Ben at home vs Giants or Kaepernick at Chicago?- Rene medina (@Uppercasebee73) December 4, 2016Going with Ben at home, as hes averaged (as weve mentioned) 336 and 3.75 scores at home this season. -- J.M.Flex spot nonPPR : Rawls or Mike Wallace? Thx! #StartSitESPN- Sim Shany (@Simpson15) December 4, 2016Wallace has a respectable yardage pattern and is quietly on place for 1,100 yards, but I find a similar yardage floor and much-higher scoring ceiling for Rawls in place. I also dont like that Wallace relies on vertical success and Miami has the second-best pass rush in the league, limiting Flaccos time in the pocket. -- J.M.Brees or Brady? @ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN- Alissa Lyman (@alissa_lyman) December 4, 2016Its not so crazy to have both, if you consider Brady went late in some drafts with the suspension. That said, Ill call you crazy if you sit Drew Brees at home today! -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy Gates, Ertz, or Brate in Standard? #StartSitESPN- footballislife17 (@msturgis15) December 4, 2016Gates is due to bounce back from that no-show, as he still ran 77 percent of his snaps from the slot and is a viable red zone weapon for Rivers. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN what to do??? Russell Wilson or Carr? HELP!!!!! I need a win!- Shank OPotamus (@mdshanksalot) December 4, 2016Even though the overall season pattern doesnt support this, I want Wilson at home in this soft setup against that young Carolina secondary. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy Moncrief or T. Williams #StartSitESPN- Abdiel Beitia (@imabdielito) December 4, 2016With Williams dealing with the labrum injury, Id look to the healthy alternative in Moncrief, who has a nice matchup and awesome touchdown pattern. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Latavius Murray or Jay Ajayi?- Ross Herzog (@RHerzy14) December 4, 2016Im going contrarian here and siding with Murray, as the healthy scratch to DeAndre Washington and the uptick in snaps and touches last week for Murray was emboldening for his prospects this week. -- J.M.Bengals, Raiders, or Jags D?@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN- JP Ponton (@jaypeezy85) December 4, 2016Starting off with a defensive question; it is the ultimate streaming position, after all. Dont love this trio of options, but the Bengals are facing a depleted Philly offense that is 25th in the league in points per drive and has the fourth-highest turnover-per-drive rate since Week 5 -- when right tackle Lane Johnson left the roster due to suspension. These are inviting and differentiating metrics against a Philly offense without their top receiver, Jordan Matthews, who is not expected to play, according to Adam Schefter. -- J.M.Who should I start Demaryius Thomas or Brandin Cooks#FFNow #StartSitESPN #FantasyFootball- Pj (@SuperJParty) December 4, 2016Lets avoid recency bias and go with the best setup, which is Cooks at home in that awesome potential shootout in the Superdome. Cooks has averaged a team-best 21 yards per reception and has scored five of his six touchdowns this season at home. Last week was also a function of the Rams double-teaming him throughout, so we can expect a revival in usage and production for Cooks. -- J.M.Start Emmanuel Sanders or Deandre Hopkins? #StartSitESPN- Jayme Butts (@JaymeButts) December 4, 2016Siding with Hopkins, largely based on the inviting matchup metrics -- the Packers are 31st in pass coverage on Pro Football. Sanders and Thomas for Denver are both still viable WR3/flex assets, its just that shifting to the rookie quarterback on the road is a factor. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy Smallwood or Boyd. Standard/flex#StartSitESPN- JP Ponton (@jaypeezy85) December 4, 2016Game script limited Smallwood to just 10 touches last week, but with Ryan Mathews out yet another week, we can deploy him again here with an angle for double-digit touches in a game that appears more likely to be ground out on the ground, given the sluggish point total and low spread. Which is to say, the ingredients for the game seem friendly for Smallwood getting the rock a good bit. I dig Boyd, but his value isnt realized in standard leagues. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN J.Crowder or D.Adams- AbdulRaqibAl-Amreeki (@quiFree) December 4, 2016With the Packers passing the ball upward of 40 times per game regularly, and with Adams claiming a strong share of the target market for Green Bay, hes a fine option at home against a Houston team lacking a pass rush (leaving him time to get deep/open). -- J.M.#StartSitESPN need to start 1 person in flex, Randall Cobb, Thomas Rawls, Robert Kelley, Todd Gurley. PPR league. @ESPNFantasy- Nick OConnor (@the_N0C) December 4, 2016Riding with Rawls and the Seahawks sizable upgrade at home against a Carolina defense sans their best playmaker in the front seven. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Michel Thomas or Willie Snead?- JP (@JPSonOfJohn) December 4, 2016Thomas has been so productive as Brees outside contested-catch and vertical weapon, thus he gets the nod here. -- J.M.Have to start two of three, Davante Adams, watkins, or Tyreek Hill #StartSitESPN- Andrew Coleman (@AColemanPhoto) December 4, 2016Watkins is the odd man out here, if only because I have Adams and Hill in the top 50 among flex assets and Watkins is just outside, since his snap and opportunity rate is more compromised than these peers. I dig Watkins as an upside play today but find Hill is also in that tier, given Maclins absence and the nice matchup. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Washington or NY Giants D/ST?- Shelly Martin (@ShellyMartin8) December 4, 2016I dont want to face that elite Steelers offense on the road -- Big Ben is averaging 3.75 touchdowns at home -- thus its Washington if thats your only alternative. -- J.M.River or Stafford...help #StartSitESPN- Kyle Hammett (@kvhammett) December 4, 2016Were here for you, man. Lets ride with Matt Stafford, as shares of the game in the Superdome are enviable, with nearly eight touchdowns projected based on the Vegas ingredients. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy Big Ben or Kapernick today? #StartSitESPN- Scott Drennan (@scottdrennan) December 4, 2016A viable concern, but riding with Ben Roethlisberger, given the Brees-like home rates (336 yards and nearly four scores per game at home). -- J.M.CJ Fiedorowitz or S. Shepard in the flex? 1PPR #StartSitESPN- Seldom Seen (@seldomseen79) December 4, 2016I have Fiedorowicz just slightly above Shepard, which is essentially a floor-over-ceiling-type play given the tight end has a steady market share of the Texans passing targets, but Shepard has the higher big-play ceiling. -- J.M.Gabriel or Robinson #StartSitESPN @ESPNFantasy- Atom (@add_emup32) December 4, 2016Lets ride with Denard Shoelace Robinson, as the Broncos have ceded the fourth-most rushing yards per game to backs and he could be quite busy with Ivory out and Yeldon ailing. -- J.M.T. Hightower, J. Starks, or T. Rawls for Rb2 slot. #StartSitESPN- amanjeet sandhu (@asandhu_89) December 4, 2016Rawls for me -- nice matchup and positive game script as home favorites could feed him a nice workload. -- J.M.Watkins or Boyd 1pt PPR #StartSitESPN- Casey (@bean6095) December 4, 2016Lets go big with Watkins upside, especially with the Bills receiving corps decimated heading into Oakland. There is some risk, but the rewards are substantial. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Tyreek Hill vs. Falcons OR Doug Baldwin vs. Panthers- Blake Dixon (@FrostedBlakesTV) December 4, 2016I swear your Embiid photo didnt sway me. Lets go with Baldwin, as his 20 percent share of the Seattle passing game is steady and he offers big-play, multi-score upside, just as Hill does, although in a more bankable pattern. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Start Carr or Luck this week??- RealBillOakley (@RealBillOakley) December 4, 2016Riding with Luck here, as the Bills have the third-best pass rush in the league and could at least cause some traffic in the pocket for Carr. The Jets have one of the quietest pass rushes in the league, affording Luck time to operate against their soft secondary. -- J.M.Starks or yeldon? For the flex. #StartSitESPN #week13- bdub (@b_walsh0511) December 4, 2016Starks gets the nod, especially with the Texans rush defense ranked in the bottom 10 in yardage to tailbacks. Yeldon is banged up, and the staff is talking about how hell likely be limited today. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy Thomas Rawls or Devontae Booker? #StartSitESPN- CesarinPR (@cesarPR) December 4, 2016I prefer Bookers heavy workload (26 touches per over last two) and his increased yardage floor with receiving work. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy Watkins or Jackson #StartSitESPN- F-Breezy ?? (@_FabrizzioM_) December 4, 2016Prefer Watkins here, thanks to the lack of competition for meaningful targets. Both are similar in that we need big plays to return value, which favors Watkins, given his increased target share. -- J.M. Cody Latimer Jersey . THE HAGUE, Netherlands -- Injury-prone Netherlands captain Arjen Robben will not play in upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and France. William Carrier Jersey .The Bayern Munich forward, who has not added to his 88 internationals for the Netherlands in almost a year because of a string of injuries, is still feeling the effects of a rib injury.Netherlands coach Danny Blind says Robben will not play against Belarus on Friday or France on Monday.Blind says I spoke to Arjen this morning. Their experience showed Tuesday as the No. 10 Badgers blunted a Saint Louis surge to win 63-57 and advance to face West Virginia in Wednesdays finals of the Cancun Challenge. NFL touchback numbers dropped in the first week of the 2016 preseason despite an offseason rule change that marks them at the 25-yard line instead of the 20.According to NFL.com numbers, 29 percent of Week 1 kickoffs (42 of 142) were downed in the end zone for a touchback. Thats well below the leagues rate of 56 percent during the 2015 regular season.More kickoffs tend to be returned in the preseason, when a big return can boost players chances of making the team. But the 2015 preseason rate of touchbacks was 43.4 percent, still notably higher than what the league produced in the first week of the 2016 preseason.Although it is a small sample size, the rate decrease is consistent with what NFL coaches have said about the rule change during training camp. The league is attemmpting to reduce returns for safety purposes, hoping that better field position will incentivize more teams to take touchbacks. Jonathan Marchessault Jersey. Coaches have said they will experiment this summer with pop-up kicks that drop short of the goal line, thus forcing a return and achieving the opposite effect of the rule change.NFL officials have said they will study the full-season impact of the new touchback rule before deciding whether to abandon or tweak it in the offseason.During a conference call with league executives last spring, special teams coaches advocated a new, mandatory formation that would convert the kickoff into a play closer to a punt. For the first time in the sports history, five prominent mixed martial artists have publicly aligned with a fighters association. Adrian Gonzalez Jersey .A group of athletes including former UFC champion Georges St-Pierre, along with former Bellator MMA CEO Bjorn Rebney, announced the foundation of the Mixed Martial Arts Athletes Association on Wednesday.According to its official release, The Associations sole concentration is to fight for the rights of MMA fighters and force UFCs ownership, [WME-IMG], to dramatically alter the companys decade plus outrageous treatment of its athletes. In addition to St-Pierre, who retired in 2013 but is interested in a comeback, the group includes active fighters Tim Kennedy, Cain Velasquez, Donald Cerrone and?TJ Dillashaw. Those five will serve as the MMAAAs board members, and they intend to recruit other UFC athletes, both active and retired, to join. The MMAAA declined to provide a detailed outline of its plans but said its goals ideally include an out-of-court financial settlement with the UFC, an increase in revenue share and insurance and pension packages that do not currently exist for UFC athletes. In essence, what the association is going to achieve for the athletes is a settlement to address the past wrongs, driving up [revenue split] to 50 percent up from 8 percent, and a benefits package that provides a safety net, said Rebney, who was replaced as Bellator head in 2014.All four of the active fighters are scheduled to compete at UFC events in December, and each admitted that adds a feeling of angst to the announcement.Absolutely there is still fear, but it needs to be done, Cerrone said. Standing with the five guys here, these are big names. We just need the rest of the guys to not have fear and stand up with us. Were putting ourselves out there.St-Pierre, who entered negotiations for a comeback fight with the UFC this year that ultimately failed, added, This same thing has happened before in every other sport -- NFL, NHL, NBA. Now its happening in the UFC. Its going to happen whether they like it or not.I know a lot of fighters want to remain anonymous, but Im telling you guys, come see us. Its time to stand together.St-Pierre said even a fighter at the level of Conor McGregor, who received a record $3 million disclosed purse for a fight against Nate Diaz in August, is not making a fair share.A UFC official told ESPN.com the promotion does not intend to make a formal statement on the announcement, but respects all of its athletes and encourages open communication on how to improve the sport.Rebney made it clear the association is not an effort to unionize -- the current landscape defines UFC fighters as independent contractors rather than employees. The initial focus of MMAAA also will be only on UFC athletes, not those signed to other organizations.Four of the five athletes on the board are represented by entertainment powerhouse Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a well-known rival of WME. WME purchased the UFC for more than $4 billion earlier this year.According to Rebney, CAA is not directly backing the association but supports the athletes rights. Rebney declined to identify the ventures source of funding, other than saying, Some people stepped up.Rebney also mentioned the possibility of a labor strike, although both Kennedy and Velasquez later stated their goal is to work with the UFC to resolve these differences. This is not the first pro-fighter effort to take place; however, it is the first to feature such prominent, public support from a board of high-profile fighters. Another effort calling itself the Professional Fighters Association was announced in August, although that differs in that it seeks to unionize UFC athletes. Were going to change the face of the entire industry and sport today, Kennedy said. BERKELEY, Calif. Adidas Senators Jerseys . -- Jake Browning and the Washington Huskies sure made a good case that they may have been snubbed in the initial College Football Playoff rankings even if they say they werent bothered by it in the least.Browning threw for 378 yards and six touchdowns to set Washingtons single-season record for TD passes, and the fourth-ranked Huskies beat California 66-27 on Saturday night.Days after being ranked fifth in the playoff rankings behind one-loss Texas A&M, the Huskies (9-0, 6-0 Pac-12) took care of business in efficient fashion hours after the Aggies were upset by Mississippi State.I think its good, Browning said. Theres a lot of football left to play. Put us outside the top four and make us earn it.John Ross had 208 yards receiving and three scores. Dante Pettis caught three touchdown passes and threw another to lead the Huskies (9-0, 6-0 Pac-12, No. 5 CFP) to their 12th straight win in convincing fashion.Washington is off to its best start since going 12-0 and winning a share of the national title in 1991.Its nice to get into a grove like that, Pettis said. You move the ball down the field pretty easily and things feel good. Everyone is in the mojo right there. Thats how it was today. The Bears (4-5, 2-4) had won five straight home games, including victories over ranked Texas and Utah earlier this season. But they were no match for the Huskies, who were far more potent on offense and much stingier on defense.Davis Webb threw for 262 yards and one touchdown, and ran for a second score. But he also had three second-half interceptions as the Huskies pulled away with 38 straight points after Cal cut the deficit to 21-20 midway through the second quarter. We just let the game get away from us, Dykes said. We turned the ball over on three straight possessions, we couldnt get any stops and we did not do a good job on third downs.Browning did most of the work, finding Ross and Pettis open repeatedly downfield for big plays. Ross scored on TD catches of 60 and 67 yards, eluding four defenders after backtracking 4 yards on the longer TD. Pettis caught a 32-yard TD pass that gave Browning 34 TDs this season, one more then Keith Price had for the Huskies in 2011.They were kind of stacking the box, Browning said. Its high risk, high reward. Thats going to happen with those deep balls.THE TAKEAWAYWashington: The Huskies showed off their balance on offense. When Cal stacked the box to stop the run, Browning was able to beat the Bears with deep passes. When the defense rolled coverage to take away Ross, Washingtons other receivers took advantage of the opportunity. The Huskies also gained 287 yards on the ground with TD runs from Lavon Coleman and Myles Gaskin.California: Struggling on defense is nothing new for the Bears, who came into the game allowing more than 505.9 yards and 41.8 points per contest. The offense was a problem this game. Cal settled for field goals after starting in Washington territory on two first-half possessions and converted just 1 of 14 third downs.LONG TIME COMINGPettis said he had practiced his pass play a few times each week and was eager to get the chance to pull it off in a game. That opportunity came in the first quarter when he took a lateral from Browning and then hit Darrell Daniels for a 39-yard score. That was fun, Pettis said. Ive been joking to my coach that we were never going to call that paly and sure enough we called it today.WORST EVERCal tied the modern school record for points allowed in a game, matching the performance in a 66-0 loss to Alabama in the 1973 season opener.POLL IMPLICATIONSThe Huskies should remain fourth in the AP poll .UP NEXTWashington: The Huskies host USC on Saturday.California: The Bears play the other top team in the division when they visit Washington State on Saturday.---More AP college football: www.collegefootball.ap.org Fredrik Claesson Jersey . Townsend struggled for form and game time with Tottenham at the start of the season but a £12m move to Newcastle in January has reinvigorated him.The 24-year-old has turned in some impressive performances for the Magpies and although it was ultimately not enough to keep Newcastle in the Premier League, it helped secure a berth in Hodgsons provisional 26-man squad for this summers tournament in France. Townsend says his move to Newcastle was the catalyst for his recall Some people were reporting I was in the squad, some that I was out, so it was real relief when I was named in the provisional squad. Now it is up to me to force my way into the final 23, Townsend told Sky Sports News HQ.The start of the season was a disappointment but I always had the faith that if I could get a run of games, my form would get back to where I want it to be and I could break back into the England squad. It has worked out that way, so I am delighted.Hodgson is known for showing loyalty to players he feels have performed well for England, regardless of how they are doing at club level. The manager has to pick 23 players and it is going to be extremely difficult for him. My job is to make it even more difficult with my performances on the pitch. Andros Townsend Townsend knows that may not be enough to secure a place in the managers final selection, though, and he is keen to impress in the upcoming friendlies against Turkey and Australia before the squad is trimmed.I know loyalty is not going to get me on the plane to France, I need to play well in the friendlies if I am given game time, added Townsend. Erik Karlsson Jersey. The manager has to pick 23 players from 26 and I know it is going to be extremely difficult for him. My job is to make it even more difficult with my performances on the pitch.Hopefully I can do enough to make that final cut. Townsends form improved greatly after his move to Newcastle in January Townsend has been reunited with five former Spurs colleagues at Englands training camp at St Georges Park and he admits he is pleasantly surprised by just how well they performed this season. They have been incredible. We all knew they had talent but for Tottenham to be challenging for the title so soon, the manager [Mauricio Pochettino] has done a fantastic job and that will benefit England not only at this tournament, but in the future as well, he said. You look at the likes of Dele Alli, he has no fear, and if he gets the chance in France he will play with the same freedom. Gary Cahill was absent with a minor knock as Englands Euro 2016 squad trained for the first time We have got a great squad and players playing at the very highest level. We will be a match for anyone, whichever squad the manager takes out.We are going to be challenging and hopefully we can go all the way. PHOENIX -- After a season of injuries and indecision, the Phoenix Suns hope they have tweaked their young roster correctly as they open the 2016-17 season against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Womens Oilers Jerseys .Two years ago, the Suns best three guards (Eric Bledsoe, Goran Dragic and Isaiah Thomas) all played the same position. But the logjam at point guard quickly went from unworkable to untenable, beginning a spiral that forced a reboot to the Suns rebuilding plans. Now the Suns kick off the 2016-17 season with three guards with defined positions and roles.Bledsoe is the survivor of the purge and the undisputed point guard, hoping to rebound from injuries that forced him to watch most of last seasons 23-59 disaster from the sideline.Devin Booker, who rose from the ashes of a terrible season, is now the starting shooting guard and face of the franchise a few days shy of his 20th birthday. He became the fourth-youngest player in league history (behind LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant) to score 1,000 points in a season.Brandon Knight, plagued by injuries and inconsistency but an undeniable offensive force, will come off the bench as a sixth man who will see major playing time in coach Earl Watsons rotation that now includes former Suns Leandro Barbosa and Jared Dudley and a host of promising but unproven talent. With Bledsoe, Booker, Knight and Barbosa heading up the guard rotation, the Suns waived Archie Goodwin on Monday and opted to keep John Jenkins and Tyler Ulis at the end of the bench. Goodwin had several highlight-reel moments during his three seasons with the Suns but never enough to warrant serious playing time.Suns general manager Ryan McDonough told Arizona Sports 98.7 FM that Goodwin had requested a change of scenery. We felt like we got down to 16 really good, quality NBA players. Archie and his agents for the last few months asked us to accommodate a trade request, McDonough said. With that in mind, we told Archie and his agent wed try to help him move to a team where hed have an opportunity and play. Unfortunately, we werent able to work out a deal. This time of a year, its hard.Forward P.J. Tucker, who underwent back surgery in September, was cleared to play on Tuesday and will come off the bench. T.J. Warren, coming off season-ending foot surgery himself, will start at forward with Dudley and Tyson Chandler at center. While the Suns have missed the playoffs for six consecutive seasons, the Kings are trying to break a 10-year postseason drought. Despite an explosive season from center DeMarcus Cousins, who ranked fourth in the NBA in scoring at 26.9 points per game, the Kings won only 33 games -- the most in Cousins six season in Sacramento. The Kings won three out of four meetings with the Suns last season, and Cousins was a big reason.Sacramento will start the season without starting point guard Darren Collison, who will begin an eight-game suspension due to a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. Ty Lawson will start at the point for the Kings, looking to rebound after two poor seasons and two DUI arrests in 2015.The Kings will open the season with 11 games in the first 17 days. Most of those games will be with Lawson as the only true point guard on the roster. Its going to be a rough stretch, Lawson told the Sacramento Bee. If things go bad, weve just got to stick together. We cant pull apart. Things are going to happen, but I feel like if we stay positive and stick together, well be able to get through it.Former Sun and new King Matt Barnes will miss his first game with the Kings due to rib and knee problems. WASHINGTON -- Kirk Cousins will play next season on the franchise tag after the quarterback and Washington Redskins were unable to agree on a long-term contract. The team confirmed it did not reach a deal with Cousins before Fridays 4 p.m. ET deadline for franchise players to sign new contracts.Cousins will earn $19.95 million in 2016. Hell be the first quarterback to play a season on the franchise tag since Drew Brees with the San Diego Chargers in 2005.The 27-year-old Cousins started all 16 regular-season games for the Redskins last season, throwing for 4,166 yards and 29 touchdowns with 11 interceptions last season. In 30 career NFL games, the 2012 fourth-round pick has thrown 47 touchdowns and 30 interceptions.Cousins and the Redskins not agreeing long term was not surprising given that he has only been an NFL starter for one full season after usurping Robert Griffin III. Griffin was released this offseason and signed by the Cleveland Browns. The Redskins are unquestionably Cousins team next season with backup Colt McCoy and sixth-round pick Nate Sudfeld behind him on the depth chart. Anton Slepyshev Jersey. es our leader on offense, hes our quarterback, McCloughan said in May. He won the (NFC) East last year and thats pretty cool because thats what we need here. We need those types of guys, and those are the kinds of guys Im trying to draft, but also, we cant go crazy because its about 53, its not about one.Cousins said multiple times during the offseason that he wasnt worried about negotiations. At minicamp last month the Michigan State product said if the deadline came and went, lets just go play football and well see you on the other side.Quarterbacks coach Matt Cavanaugh doesnt think Cousins will be affected by the contract situation.I coach, and I want him to play well and thats what he wants, Cavanaugh said. RIO DE JANEIRO -- Diana Taurasi and her U. Nick Foligno Jersey .S. teammates knew theyd be in for a test against Serbia. The end result was another blowout victory, but the Americans couldnt put it on cruise control like they had in their first two wins.Taurasi scored 22 of her Olympic-best 25 points in the first half to help the U.S. beat Serbia 110-84 on Wednesday and advance to the quarterfinals. The U.S. had easily routed Senegal and Spain in its first two games, winning by an average of 52.5 points, they had a harder time against the hot-shooting Balkan nation. We knew it was going to be tough. We played them in Turkey in 2014 and it was our toughest game at the world championship, Taurasi said. They are the European champions for a reason.Serbia came out shooting well from behind the arc and led 17-16 -- the latest the Americans have trailed in the Olympics -- before Taurasi took over. She scored nine points, including two 3-pointers, during a 15-4 run to close the opening period.Usually Diana doesnt assert herself like she has the first three games, UConn coach Geno Auriemma said. Usually waiting for the game to come to her, get everybody else involved. These first three games of the tournament shes come out and taken over right from the beginning.Taurasi is averaging 17.7 points, her highest ever in the four Olympics shes played in.Breanna Stewart added 17 points and Tina Charles finished with 15 after getting going in the second quarter to help the U.S. extend the advantage to 22 at the half. Taurasi had five 3-pointers in the first 20 minutes, equaling her Olympic team record. She broke the mark early in the third quarter and finished the game with six 3s to set a new U.S. Olympic mark.Caroline Williams, first-team PR, told me that going into halftime that I needed one, so I shot it, Taurasi said. If I wasnt open I probably wouldnt have shot it. On this team you really got to be open to shoot. Today I thought I took two bad ones and I felt really bad about it.While Serbia could never recover from the halftime deficit, the Serbians did make the U.S. work on both ends of the floor. They kept pace with the U.S. in the third quarter, only being outscored by one point. Serbia finished the game 12-for-20 from behind the 3-point arc. They are impossible to play against, Auriemma said. Our big guys, its a nightmare guarding them. You have a team shooting 20 percent on 2s or 80 percent on 3s at one time. Its a combination of the two.The U.S. (3-0) has been scoring at a record pace, topping 100 points for the third consecutive game. The Americans have never done that in the Olympics and are on pace to break the 102.4 points a game the 1996 team averaged en route to the gold medal that started this run of five straight that the U.S. is currently on. The victory was the 44th consecutive for the Americans, who were a perfect 26 for 26 from the foul line, in the Olympics.Serbia has had a disappointing first Olympics after winning the Eurobasket last year. The Serbians lost their first two games by a combined eight points, including blowing an 18-point lead against Canada. Now they sit at 0-3 and in danger of not making it to the quarterfinals. Serbia must win its final two games to have any chance of advancing. They are the best team in the world, but I thought we did some positive things and we could learn from some things we did well, said Danielle Page, who scored 15 points. Our goal is to get to the quarterfinals and see what we can do there.Page, who played college basketball at Nebraska, joined the Serbian team after the coach saw her play in a French league.I got really lucky, she saw me play and wondered if Id be interested in a passport and dangled the Olympic dream in front of me. I was very interested.Next up for the U.S. is Canada on Friday. The Canadians are also undefeated so far after beating Senegal 68-58 to clinch a quarterfinal berth for the second straight Olympics. The Buffalo Bills have placed their faith in quarterback Tyrod Taylor by signing him to a contract extension.Sources told ESPN the deal is for six years and $90 million. He will make $9.5 million in 2016, up from a previous base contract of $2 million.Taylor could earn up to $20 million more through difficult-to-reach incentives, sources said, but the Bills can release him by the third day of the 2017 league year and pay him only the $9.5 million he would have made in 2016. They have another out available after the second year of the deal.Im definitely thankful for the Pegulas, for the Bills organization and for Rex Ryan, for giving me an opportunity, first and foremost, Taylor said. Them offering me a contract for this many years definitely shows that theyre all-in, which is what our phrase is for this year. As far as a mindset going into a game, having financial stability or not having it, Im a competitor from day one.The team announced the deal Friday, reached a day before the Bills open their preseason by hosting the Indianapolis Colts.?Taylor was entering the final year of his contract.Next years option is for $15.5 million with a base salary of $12 million, sources said. Before the team exercises the option for the second year, that year is guaranteed for injury at $27.5 million, sources said. After the option is exercised, the guarantee becomes $50 million for injury and $40.25 million fully guaranteed -- including the money he was paid in 2016 and a portion of his 2018 base salary.Taylors base salary of $13 million for the 2018 season will become guaranteed in March of that year. The deal contains no guarantees for after the 2018 season, sources said.Every year you have something to prove, Taylor said of the Bills options in the deal. This is a competition-driven league. Its not like the NBA where everything is guaranteed. You can cut at any given time. Every time you step on that field, you have something to prove, and thats been my mindset every time I step on the practice field -- theres something for me to prove, and Im going to continue to keep showing that every time.Contract talks ramped up over the past month, and the signing comes a week after Taylors agent, Adisa Bakari, attended training camp outside Rochester, New York.We looked at it as we have a quarterback now, general manager Doug Whaley said. I hate to say it, but lack of a better term, we didnt want to be greedy. We like working with Tyrod. We have faith in Tyrod. The coaching staff has faith in Tyrod. But most importantly, the team has faith in Tyrod and Tyrod has faith in himself. So, we said lets go with what we have on hand and were excited about the future. The 27-year-old is being rewarded for displaying his dynamic dual-threat potential with a strong arm and scrambling ability in going 8-6 as a first-time sstarter last season and being named to the Pro Bowl. Lukas Sedlak Jersey. He completed 242 of 380 attempts for 3,035 yards and threw 20 touchdown passes. He set the franchise record for quarterbacks with 586 yards rushing and scored four times, trailing only Cam Newton in rushing yards (636) and rushing touchdowns (10) by a quarterback.Taylor did miss two games with a knee injury. We went back and looked at everything he did last year and then we took into consideration how he came into the offseason, how hes got a greater command of the offense, and a greater command of the team, Whaley said. And then when you take into account what he has shown on the field in this preseason camp, we just felt, again, that it was the right time and the right deal for both parties involved.Taylor spent his first four seasons serving as Joe Flaccos backup with the Baltimore Ravens before signing with the Bills in free agency in March 2015. He won the No. 1 job in Buffalo after a three-way offseason competition against former starter EJ Manuel and Matt Cassel. This year, Taylor has already shown signs of becoming more confident and taking on a larger leadership role. Numerous offensive players have credited him for being more assertive in the huddle.Coach Rex Ryan and offensive coordinator Greg Roman project that Taylor has great potential to build off last season because he is more familiar with the playbook.Buffalos offense made significant jumps under Taylor last year and after the team retooled its roster by adding several established threats, including running back LeSean McCoy and tight end Charles Clay. The Bills led the NFL with 2,432 yards rushing and finished 13th with 5,775 net yards offense, the most since 1992.Taylor becomes the latest candidate to fill what has been an unsettled position in Buffalo since Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly retired after the 1996 season. Since then, the Bills have had 12 quarterbacks, including Taylor, start at least eight games. Its a group that included Todd Collins, J.P. Losman, Trent Edwards and Kyle Orton.Drew Bledsoe, from 2002 to 2004, was the only quarterback to retain the starting job over a three-season stretch.Taylor becomes Buffalos third quarterback to earn a contract extension since Kelly retired, joining Ryan Fitzpatrick in 2011 and Doug Flutie in 1999.Fitzpatricks extension, a six-year, $59 million deal, was notable because it failed to pan out. He lasted just one more season in Buffalo before being cut after the 2012 campaign, and the Bills started fresh by using a first-round pick to draft Manuel.Information from ESPNs Adam Schefter and Dan Graziano, ESPN Stats & Information and The Associated Press contributed to this report. BOSTON -- Boston Colleges postseason hopes will live on for another week. Ben Harpur Jersey .Patrick Towles passed for 183 yards and a touchdown in his final home game, Davon Jones added a rushing score and Boston College defeated UConn 30-0 on Saturday.Eagles senior linebacker Matt Milano added a 19-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.Boston College (5-6) can become bowl-eligible with a victory in its regular-season finale at Wake Forest next week.It felt great to be in the locker room with them after they won this game, Eagles coach Steve Addazio said. Im looking forward to having an opportunity to win one more and get six.Neither team entered Saturday having produced much on offense in recent weeks. The Huskies (3-8) started freshman Donovan Williams at quarterback for the second straight game in an attempt to jumpstart an offense that entered the day averaging an FBS-worst 16.5 points per game. But UConn managed just 121 yards of offense, with Williams throwing three interceptions.A disappointing loss, UConn coach Bob Diaco said. Hard to win. When you dont have production on one side of the ball it becomes impossible. Itll be fixed. I know what the issues are and theyre going to be fixed -- and thats why were disappointed. The Eagles, whose offense came in averaging an FBS-worst 295.5 yards per game, had better luck.Towles had struggled throwing the ball this season, but found a groove in the third quarter completing 5 of 6 passes in the Eagles first drive out of halftime. The series ended with his 10-yard touchdown pass to Michael Walker that put BC in front 17-0.We talked all week -- weve got two games to make this season special. Check one, right? Towles said. Weve got a one-game season left.THE TAKEAWAYUCONN: The Huskies have tried to shake things up offensively in their past two games, but they havent moved the needle much. It was a particularly rough day for Williams, but all the experience is good for the young quarterback going forward.BOSTON COLLEGE: The strides the Eagles made offensively come at the right time. They will need it in their finale next week if theyre going to earn their third bowl berth under coach Steve Addazio.TURNOVER BATTLEBCs defense forced a season-high four turnovers (three INTs, fumble recovery). It was the most since the Eagles had five against Notre Dame on Nov. 21, 2015.SERIES DOMINANCEThe Eagles earned their 10th straight victory in their series with the Huskies. BC has outscored the Huskies in those games 297-59.SHUTOUT WINSThe victory was Boston Colleges first shutout win since a 76-0 win over Howard on Sept. 12, 2015. It was the first November shutout for the Eagles since a 17-0 win over Notre Dame on Nov. 8, 2008.HONORING RYANBC retired the jersey of former quarterback Matt Ryan at halftime Saturday.Ryan passed for 56 TDs and more than 9,000 yards at BC, and capped off his career by being selected third overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2008 NFL draft. He remains the schools highest draft pick in any sport. Among those in attendance for the ceremony was former BC coach Tom OBrien.Im really honored to have my jersey hanging up there, and very proud, Ryan told the crowd after his jersey was unveiled. It joined the previously retired jerseys of Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Doug Flutie, Outland Trophy winner Mike Ruth, and nine other former Eagles.Ryan was visible throughout the day. It included him leading the team in the pregame Eagle Walk through campus and into Alumni Stadium, a game-day tradition started when coach Steve Addazio arrived in 2013.UP NEXTUCONN: Returns home to host Tulane in its season finale.BOSTON COLLEGE: Hits the road for its conference and regular-season finale at Wake Forest.---More AP college football: www.collegefootball.ap.org and https://twitter.com/AP-Top25.---Follow Kyle Hightower on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/khightower Fredrik Claesson Jersey . -- Matt Rupert scored once in regulation and again in the shootout as the London Knights extended their win streak to nine games by defeating the Owen Sound Attack 4-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action. LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Even if the Chicago Bears future at quarterback is murky, their vision of the future at numerous other spots looks more clear.A nonfactor in the NFC North race, the Bears continue giving effort normally associated with teams in a playoff chase. Sundays 26-6 victory over the San Francisco 49ers provided them with hope about their long-range future. Its easier for the Bears to be more confident about the future with production theyre receiving from young players such as rookie linebackers Leonard Floyd and Nick Kwiatkoski, and several reserves on the offensive line.Floyd continues to live up to his draft status as the ninth overall pick. He has seven sacks, a fumble recovery for a touchdown and a safety. Hes put up those numbers despite missing three games with injuries.Ive been impressed, Bears coach John Fox said. Hes a very athletic guy. Hes got a lot of natural abilities. His mindset is good, too.Floyd suffered a concussion on a scary play against the New York Giants on Nov. 20 when he crashed into the side of Bears defensive lineman Akiem Hicks. It meant Floyds first ride ever in an ambulance. He left the hospital, sat out a week, then made two sacks Sunday in the win over San Francisco.Obviously weve talked about his athleticism, his speed, Fox said. We could have used it in every game. And really even early in yesterdays game we could have played a couple of things a little bit better. What was impressive about Leonard was being able to put maybe ... not some of his better plays behind him. I thought he responded really well in the second half.Floyds early problems in Sundays win had less to do with his injury and more with missing practices.Definitely at the beginning of the game I was playing kind of jittery, Floyd said. The more the game went on, the more I settled down.I havent been practicing for two weeks, contact-wise. I just had to get my feet. Daniel Alfredsson Jersey. Kwiatkoski, a fourth-round pick, made nine tackles against the 49ers starting for Jerrell Freeman, who was suspended for using a performance enhancer. It was his third start this season due to injuries or suspensions.I think with those experiences and that preparation, I think hes playing faster, Fox said.Even with using young players on defense such as Floyd, Kwiatkoski and safety Deon Bush, the Bears have moved to seventh in yards allowed at 326.8 per game, and sixth stopping the pass at 220.3 a game.On offense, theyve moved up to 16th despite losing quarterback Jay Cutler to injury and missing wide receiver Alshon Jeffery due to a performance enhancer suspension the past two games.Journeyman guard Eric Kush has filled in for injured Josh Sitton and helped with pass blocking that allowed only one sack the past two weeks. But on offense the big change has been quarterback Matt Barkley, who is making an obvious case to be around next year, whether or not Cutler returns. The Bears scored three touchdowns in the each of the last two games with Barkley at quarterback. They hadnt scored more than two in any game this season before he played.Barkley connected on 11 of 18 for 192 yards in the snow against the 49ers. Fox saw improvement over the loss to Tennessee, when Barkley threw two early interceptions.Well, I think confidence at any position is huge, Fox said. Typically you have confidence, something goods got to happen. So I think in his case, even though we lost a week ago against Tennessee, I think he felt confident. I dont think hes lacking for confidence. I think thats evident in the style of play, kind of how he handles things.---For more NFL coverage: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys 2019 Cheap Nike NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Online Wholesale Jerseys Stitched Jerseys ' ' '

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. http://www.giantsrookiestore.com/Giants-Geno-Smith-Jersey/ . -- Florida States Derwin James came into the season expecting to be the quarterback of the defense. Due to an injury the second week of the season, his role has changed to more of a coach. The sophomore defensive back, who suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee on Sept. 10, is hopeful he can return by the end of the season for the 23rd-ranked Seminoles. In the meantime, he has been trying to coach up the defensive backs on the sideline for what has been a beleaguered defense.Going into Saturdays game at No. 10 Miami, Florida State (3-2) is among the nations worst defenses and has dropped two of its past three games. It is in danger of dropping its first three Atlantic Coast Conference games for the first time since 2009.With me being hurt, its like Im learning more as a coach. So its kind of different versus going out there and applying it to the field. Im learning, Im seeing it and now Im telling other guys, James said.James has been encouraged with his rehabilitation progress. He is down to just one crutch and is doing flexibility drills, but he didnt want to give a timeline on his return.James absence has been noticeable. The Seminoles are allowing 6.98 yards per play, which is fourth-worst among the 128 teams in the nation and has given up 25 plays of 30 yards or more, which is second-most in the nation. When James was injured during the third quarter of FSUs win over Charleston Southern, he was leading the team in tackles in the first two games and had recorded his first career interception in the Sept. 5 win over No. 14 Mississippi. Many projected James to be one of the breakout players in college football this season due to his versatility. Besides being a physical safety, he could play as a rush end in certain pass-rushing situations along with occasionally being used as aa linebacker or a corner against a slot receiver. http://www.giantsrookiestore.com/Giants-Darian-Thompson-Jersey/. Without James, FSUs deficiencies in pass coverage have been apparent.Everybody back there knows what to do. I think were just overthinking. We just need to communicate better, he said.Coach Jimbo Fisher realizes that James absence has been a huge blow to the defense, but didnt want to use that as an excuse for the Seminoles struggles.Hes a great leader. Hes a great guy that keeps things together, and other guys dont have to do things they would be doing, Fisher said. But everybody deals with that. Thats not an excuse in any way, shape, or form. You have to play with what youve got, and weve got good players, and we have good kids. Weve just got to figure out how to get them to play well.Florida State faces another difficult quarterback this week in Brad Kaaya. The Miami junior has thrown for 721 yards in two games against Florida State with five touchdowns and one interception. His 405 yards in last years game were the most by a Miami QB in a game in Tallahassee. The Hurricanes (4-0, 1-0 ACC) are unbeaten at this point for the sixth time since 2000.Miami coach Mark Richt compared James injury to if the Hurricanes lost Kaaya.Said Richt: I just know that hes one of the best players in college football, and its always hard to lose a great player at any position. If theres a quarterback of the defense, he was probably it, and Im sure that makes it tougher to execute. STATE COLLEGE, Pa. Brayden Schenn Jersey . -- Earlier this season Penn State endured a rash of injuries to his its linebacker corps. Now, coach James Franklin hopes it can do the same down a handful of offensive linemen. The No. 9 Nittany Lions (8-2, 6-1 Big Ten) will have to continue their chase for the Big Ten East title without their top three tackles as Franklin announced Tuesday Paris Palmer will miss the remainder of the season with an unspecified injury.Already without starters Andrew Nelson and Brendan Mahon, Franklin is questioning whether to burn redshirts for vaunted recruits Will Fries and Michal Menet or move players from positions where theyve helped pave the way for the Big Tens leading rusher, Saquon Barkley, and one of the countrys most explosive offenses. We are not, at this point, doing anything, Franklin said. But the way this thing is playing out, you never know. We want to be prepared for it. So those guys will be up with varsity and get a bunch of reps.Compounding the problem is uncertainty surrounding Connor McGoverns status. The freshman has excelled as the teams starting right guard during its six-game win streak but also left the Indiana game with an unspecified injury. As a result, the Nittany Lions struggled for the first time since Week 4 to establish a running game and quarterback Trace McSorley was under more pressure than usual. Barkley was hit behind the line or dropped for no gain on 15 of his 33 carries and Penn State finished with 77 rushing yards on 45 carries.Barkley is already 18 carries over where he finished last season with and Franklin said the team is monitoring his snap counts to keep him as fresh as possible. Its also hard to take a guy off the field that has a chance to break a play at any minute, Franklin said. But Barkleys ability to cut off of outside blocks was clearly hampered against Indiana. Chasz Wright started his first game at right tackle and was beaten on a number of those tackles for loss. He also gave up two pressures that resulted in two of three sacks of McSorley, who was hurried to throw two interceptions and took a number of hard shots after releasing the ball. The front five was further shaken up by Palmers exit as it forced Penn State to move starting freshman left guard Ryan Bates to tackle where hell practice this week, Franklin said.I think that we have the next-man-up mentality, tight end Mike Gesicki said. Weve shown it all season long. Whether it was earlier in the year with linebackers and now with the offensive line. Coach (Joe) Moorhead always tells the backups, `Youre one play away from being a starter. So those guys buy into their role. The chances the next man up will be a returning starter when Penn State travels to play Rutgers (2-8, 0-7 Big Ten) on Saturday are unknown.Franklin said its too early in the week to know McGoverns status or if hell responded well enough to treatments to play. Mahon suffered an apparent leg injury against Iowa and did not return to that game. The athletic department confirmed he was taken to the hospital last Tuesday and was in stable condition then. Franklin hasnt given specifics on Mahons condition in any of his last three meetings with reporters but did not rule out his return to the lineup. We have all week long to figure that out, Franklin said. Obviously, it also helps with it being an 8 p.m. night game on the front end.---More AP college football: https://collegefootball.ap.org Womens Blues Jerseys . The 25-year-old Henderson has been through some incredibly trying times in four seasons -- the Bobcats are 106-206 during that span, including an NBA record-worst 7-59 in 2011-12. But he said Monday at a press conference the challenge of turning things around is huge motivation for him. "You go through anything tough and its easy to give up and say you want to move on or whatnot," said Henderson, who signed a three-year, $18 million deal last week with the Bobcats. "As bad as it got, and I was part of the problem, it was kind of one of those things where you look at as it can only get better. With the pieces weve added we can find our way out of it." Henderson, who averaged a career-high 15.5 points per game last season, is particularly excited about the addition of big men Al Jefferson and Cody Zeller, who he said will not only help the team, but should also free up open looks for him and the teams other guards. "I think with more attention on guys down low it frees up the perimeter a bunch," Henderson said. "Any team with a good big man, you will see the guards get more freedom and have more open shots. With Al, teams are going to have to double team him so you have more chances for open shots." Henderson is eager to cash in. He improved his 3-point shooting from 23.4 per cent in 2011-12 to 33 per cent last year, giving the Bobcats hope that he can develop into a legitimate shooting guard. This season Henderson wants to take that a step further and his goal is to shoot better than 40 per cent from beyond the 3-point arc. "That is kind of where the game is going," Henderson said. "The 3-point line is where a lot of teams try to take advantage of it. That is something in my game where I want to take advantaage of. Barclay Plager Jersey. ." Henderson has always been a player whose strength is getting to the basket and drawing fouls, something which former coach Mike Dunlap encouraged. But he said new Bobcats coach Steve Clifford has placed an added emphasis on 3-point shooting. "I know that is the direction our team is going," Henderson said. Its always been my nature to get closer to the basket; Ive always played like that. But as the game evolves, my game has to evolve too. And Im working hard to improve that." Henderson, the 12th overall pick in 2009, said hes looking forward to working with Bobcats new assistant coach Mark Price, whom he referred to as a "shooting expert." Bobcats president of basketball operations Bob Higgins said the teams intention was always to re-sign Henderson, even though negotiations dragged at times as the two sides struggled to work out a deal both sides could live with. Higgins said that while Hendersons improved play over the final 21 games -- he averaged 23.9 points on 47.5 per cent shooting -- certainly turned some heads and was encouraging to see, it wasnt the determining factor in getting him back in a Bobcats uniform. "We always wanted him back," Higgins said. Now Henderson is eager to be part of the solution in Charlotte, a team that is just 28-120 over the past two seasons -- by far the worst combined record in the NBA. Henderson guarantees the Bobcats would be better this season, but wasnt ready to make a prediction on how many games theyll win. Charlotte was 21-61 last season, the second-worst record in the league behind only the Orlando Magic. "Thats a tough question," Henderson said. "Its hard to put numbers on a situation like this. I know this year will be better. Well be much improved. But to put a number on it and put added pressure on yourself isnt really fair." 12:52ET 05-08-13 Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys 2019 Cheap Nike NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Online Wholesale Jerseys Stitched Jerseys ' ' '

Just some inconsolable, through the fact that it was such a disappointing performance with the situation we were in, coach Jason Taylor said.Taylor accused his team of taking shortcuts during the match, and conceded some bad defensive habits had returned in a concerning effort, particularly in the first half. After scoring early, the Tigers conceded five tries before the halfftime break.
